Story

We've always believed in the power of radio. The ability to communicate one on one with a listener is a special gift. So many events throughout history were broadcast to millions. From that first date  to fun road trips with the family, radio has been apart of the life of people just like you. For many it's been the soundtrack for good times and bad. Special bulletins, weather information, sporting events, and oh those songs. The one's that lifted us up when we were having a bad day. The one song that said everything you couldn't say to that someone special. That feel good song that takes you to a special place, a special memory.

Omni Broadcasting is a local, veteran family owned radio group who remembers those special moments. Our family has a long history in music and the radio business. Our founder was in Muscle Sholes when some of the biggest stars in the blues and rock and roll passed through the doors to make music that is still enjoyed by millions every day.

For over 20 years, Omni has provided quality radio programming that is unique in a cookie-cutter world of corporate programming. We make all of our decisions here in our office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. We haven't always hit a home run, but we are nimble enough to

make immediate adjustments without the need for out of state bean counters telling us what to do.

Everyone that works here all share the same vision. There is nothing more important than what's on the air. No egos, no self serving interests, just straight ahead quality radio programming that entertains, informs, and connects with our listeners.  And we believe that any business who choses to spend money with us, is more than just a number, but a business partner that helps us grow our business while we help grow theirs.

There aren't many locally owned operators of radio left in the world, but, every day we try to prove that no one knows their community better than the people who live here every day.
